Programme for Global Paediatric Research: Collaborating for Global Pediatric Health
Make a donation
The Programme for Global Paediatric Research (PGPR) relies on the support of those who wish to partner with us to save the lives of children throughout the world.
Funds donated to PGPR are used to:
- Establish PGPR professional networks which target specific diseases affecting millions of children each year, determine evidence-based approaches to eradicating them, and implement sustainable solutions.
- Support a strong web presence that includes state of the art information, educational components, and social networking tools which facilitate global collaborations.
- Fund scientific symposia and workshops at which clinicians, researchers and other professionals from around the world share critical maternal-child health information and begin collaborations. At these sessions, it is essential that there is strong representation by researchers, clinicians, and other experts from developing regions. The more funds available, the more of these key individuals can attend.
- Raise awareness about critical global health research needs in order to engage more professionals in the pursuit of solutions; and in order to enlighten the general public, governments, funding bodies, and others who can impact maternal-child health outcomes.
